Brain Computing event in Pompeii on 21 February
In recent years, artificial intelligence has made giant strides, enabling organisations, companies and individuals to benefit widely from the developments of a technology that has long been considered revolutionary. However, the speed with which AI has consolidated itself as a major business tool, to the point of simplifying people’s lives, has not always been appreciated. It is from this premise that Brain Computing S.p.A. organised the AI Human Driven event on 21 February, at MGallery Habita79 in Pompeii and streamed, a moment to go beyond the hype and stereotypes about AI. Experts, academics, entrepreneurs and innovators will be able to reflect on how AI is already changing many sectors, opening up new avenues and raising new issues at the same time.
‘There are new logics that need to be interpreted, which is only possible with a unity of purpose. Meetings like this become decisive for keeping up with the times,’ explains Giovanni Sapere, Innovation Manager & Thought Leader. There will be a series of dedicated panels: creativity and entertainment, media and journalism, business and innovation, human resources and education, security, industrial automation, tourism and hospitality.
During the day, many applications of AI will be considered, for instance in the manufacturing industry and tourism, where artificial intelligence already enables improved process efficiency and increased interaction.
‘AI Human Driven’ will not only describe the potential of the models and algorithms involved, but will also address important topics such as regulation, protection and sustainability.
Supporting human intelligence ‘They will discuss how AI can enhance human creativity, opening up new frontiers in art, music and communication, and how it can be used responsibly and ethically in journalism and the media,’ Sapere continues. There will also be a focus on the role of AI in education and skills development to prepare new generations for the professions of the future.
