The 20th Taiwan Innotech Expo will take place at the Taipei World Trade Center ( TWTC Exhibition Center) from 17-19 October 2024. Registration for the exhibition is now open. Responding to international trends in AI applications, fifth-generation wireless, and net zero carbon emissions, this year’s Expo will bring together innovative technologies and products from around the world, showcasing Taiwan’s innovative strength in technology fields.
In 2023, the exhibition had nearly 500 exhibitors from 23 countries, using 1,151 booths to display over a thousand innovative inventions and technologies. During the three-day exhibition, nearly 50,000 professionals from industry, government, academia and research participated in person. Taiwan Innotech Expo in 2024 will be more eye-catching, providing a platform not only to display the latest inventions and technologies, but also to connect inventors and companies with the international market. For inventors who want to shine on the global stage, this is definitely an exhibition not to be missed.
This year’s Expo will feature several exhibition areas including the Invention Area, Theme Pavilions, Patented Products Area, Peripheral Services Area, and Taiwan Patent GO, with the aim of showcasing the outstanding achievements of Taiwan’s industry, government, academia, and research professionals while raising public awareness of technological innovation.
The Invention Area and Taiwan Patent GO, promoted by the Intellectual Property Office, are the highlights of Taiwan Innotech Expo. The Invention Area holds an annual invention competition to select innovative works with commercial potential. Through the awarding of platinum, gold, silver and bronze prizes, domestic and international inventors are encouraged to develop new technologies and products, promoting cross-sectoral cooperation in various fields. In addition, Taiwan Patent GO is a brand new project showcasing award-winning patents from international invention exhibitions, demonstrating Taiwan’s technological depth. It also offers a variety of services and activities to help the public understand Taiwan’s achievements in intellectual property protection and patent technology.
It is hoped that the exhibition platform will help excellent inventors bring their technologies and products to the international market. The products on display belong to different categories, including agricultural products, chemical materials, textiles, machinery, hand tools, consumer electronics, computer hardware, software and peripherals, optics and optoelectronics, telecommunications, metals and hardware, biotechnology, etc.
