The new Artificial intelligence manages queues, controls the correct use of masks and the number of customers improving our safety

Binoocle is a start-up founded in 2018 by Mario Puccioni, operating in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining and Neuroscience. Among the projects developed by the start-up is Vision 2, the evolution of AI Vision 1, designed and adapted to the needs dictated by the pandemic. Vision 2 provides a simple and immediate way to monitor people’s behaviour and help maintain safety in social and commercial environments.

AI operates through the images collected by video cameras, now present in any commercial work environment for security and control reasons. The program allows to collect the images of customers and processes the information in real time, according to preset security standards. Vision 2 is equipped with three applications, Pro Person, Face Mask and Concierge.

Pro Person manages the number of people inside a public place, reporting the achievement of the maximum capacity of the commercial exercise. Face Mask is responsible for detecting the presence of the mask on people’s faces indoors. Finally, Concierge is able to manage autonomously the waiting queues outside with the aim of avoiding the risk of overcrowding inside a place.

Vision 2 is simple and immediate to use, without any particular need for technical assistance. The start up ensures total respect for customer privacy. In fact, the three applications do not record images but only release an alert signal in the specific circumstance. Vision 2 could provide an additional easy-to-access tool during the most delicate phase of the fight against the pandemic.
