castAway case adds a second touchscreen to your smartphone

The gadget doubles the screen area of both our android and iOS devices and applies through a simple magnet system

Innovations on smartphones are really varied, such as Samsung’s SelfieType which projects a virtual keyboard on any surface. Recently the market is offering foldable smartphones but the costs are still not affordable for all. A new crowdfunding campaign offers a new, different and much less expensive option, castAway case. castAway case is a display that attaches to the smartphone through a pair of magnets inside it and in the cover to be applied on the mobile phone.

The device communicates with the smartphone via WiFi and continues to work even if it disconnects from the mobile phone becoming a very versatile tool. The case is equipped with two USB-C ports, through which you can recharge the battery of 35 Wh and has an autonomy comparable to that of a standard smartphone. The hardware specifications include a 1.5 Ghz processor, 4 Gb of RAM and 32 Gb of storage space. The weight is only 200 grams on average and is available in three versions, 5.8-inch, 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch.

castAway is currently compatible with the most popular devices produced by iPhone and Samsung. Screen sharing is optimized by the dedicated application called Multitask+. The app allows you to use castAway as if it were a second monitor connected to a PC. The case allows you to expand the use of our smartphone in the most imaginative ways at a low cost, the limit is only the imagination.
