Ready, set, go. It’s time to go again. And with a brand-new headquarters. We are talking about the all-Italian giant of Engineering Informatica Spa, which inaugurated its new headquarters in Rome, in the Eur.
A space in line with the ambitions of the company led by the founder and president Michele Cinaglia, specializing in services, software development and digital platforms to accompany companies, public and private, through the Digital Transformation.
The Engineering Ingegneria Informatica Spa group has 10,000 employees in all the company’s offices in Italy and the rest of the world, not least in the USA. Only the Roman headquarters will host as many as 2,000, in practice 20% of employees.
“We wanted to celebrate the entry into our new home with the family, with employees who every day with their work contribute to building a new world for businesses and citizens – said an enthusiastic Cinaglia – I want to remind you, however, that today Engineering enters its fortieth year of activity and in the next twelve months, for us particularly significant, we will proudly host in our new headquarters meeting moments dedicated to the city and our many customers and partners, to give together a glimpse into the future.
Employees who continue to grow, according to Cinaglia and the latest company reports, which see an impressive average of hiring: 3 per day in the last 4 years, for a total of about 1000 people a year. An ambitious project that is confirmed by the opening of this new and modern headquarters, consisting of four floors for a total of 22,000 square meters of open space, thus free of any form of barriers and facilitate communication and interaction between the various teams.
And we talk about interaction because it is one of the main concepts of the company that in recent years is developing the idea of smartworking, allowing all employees to work remotely with all the tools needed to access colleagues and information and share documents with the same efficiency and speed that is recorded in the office. In short, optimizing work while sitting comfortably in your office chair.
Finally, a location that will also have further uses. The IT&Management school “Enrico Della Valle” has also found a home in Piazzale dell’Agricoltura thanks to the use that some classes can make of the brand new classrooms of the new building. A good 16, which during the year can accommodate about 160 thousand people during the continuous training courses.
Last but not least, the environmental sector. The building is totally governed by a sophisticated control system that drastically reduces energy consumption and CO2 emissions, while the company’s vegetable garden, cultivated according to the principles of organic farming, is currently under construction. An eye for the planet and the next, which fits into a broader context and which sees Engineering and many other large companies, both foreign and Italian, investing more and more with conviction in the field of renewables, recycling and in general in the rationalization of consumption policies aimed at protecting the ecosystem and, considering the current times, to recover it.
