Ikea and Sonos ready to invade the market with Symfonisk

It used to be piped music. Telephone pair and music 24 hours on 24, with the possibility to move from room to room always accompanied by the background music. Obviously, over the years, technology has evolved.

From the twisted pair that transmitted the telephone signal (300 – 3400 Hz) and the one for the piped music (150-350 kHz), it was passed, by natural evolution, to the wireless, that slowly, SINCE the advent of ADSL, began to supplant the old System. Now we talk about wirelessaudio multiroom , an Anglophone phrase that indicates a series of wireless speakers strategically located in every single room to disseminate music at the same time.

You just need a home WiFi Network and an app on your smartphone, tablet or pc to start playing music. The novelty, compared to the piped music, is in the fact that it is not necessary that all the speakers of the system are active or that they play the same sound. Every single speaker can also play different music from the one played, for example, in the kitchen.

All this is possible because the individual speakers are connected to the network, but can interact independently with the most popular streamingmusic platforms. A new input is in this area arrived from Ikea, after the Success of Google And Amazon, with Google Assistant and Alexa.

Symfonisk It is the new system Made in Sweden, that allows to realize in a few minutes a system of audio transmission that would have been impossible to achieve a fortnight ago, without destroying house to pass the cables.
