From 9 to 11 April 2026, the Malaysia Technology Expo will bring together researchers, inventors, start-ups, universities and businesses from various countries in Kuala Lumpur, reaffirming its status as one of Asia’s leading platforms dedicated to promoting applied innovation, technology transfer and new solutions with significant industrial impact.
The event, hosted at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur, celebrates its 25th edition and takes a hybrid format, with both in-person and virtual participation, thereby broadening the international dialogue between scientific research, entrepreneurship and investors. The stated aim is to accelerate the transition from ideas to the market, fostering concrete links between innovation and economic opportunities.
Over the course of recent editions, the Malaysia Technology Expo has consolidated its international standing thanks to a structure that integrates an exhibition area, international innovation awards, B2B meetings, acceleration programmes and sessions dedicated to collaboration between universities and industry. The 2025 edition saw international participation from 33 countries, with hundreds of innovations presented and entries from 16 nations.
