One Vision Productions, from the beginning to the future

The Patent to discover Mr Forrest Tuff’s project, the interview with the protagonist who transformed an idea into reality.

It all began in 2004 from the mind of Forrest Tuff, a young and enterprising entrepreneur with an idea in mind and a journey ahead. Today we walk together the path of the protagonist, from the birth of the project until today.


Let’s start from the beginning, how was the One Vision Production project born? What idea did it come from?

“I started One Vision Productions in 2004 with no training in media production. As a hobbyist, creator, and storyteller, I decided to build a reputable production company from the ground up. I focused on my strengths of being customer service oriented, an excellent salesman, and a fast learner. I didn’t allow the word “No” to deter me from my goal of success as an entrepreneur. I adapted a strategic approach and sought leadership development, skilled professionals, adequate business insurance, and legal representation. I began by offering services for birthday parties, photoshoots, and weddings for individuals. Today, our clients range from small businesses and government agencies to film studios and Fortune 100 corporations. Our capabilities include video production, photography, graphic design, aerial drone services, animation, motion graphics, creative strategy, script writing, production design, pre/post-production management, directing, video editing, professional lighting, audio mixing, and sound design. We have contacts and resources to assemble the additional crew and other experts to tell your story.”

What were the moments that marked the company’s growth path? Was there an element that you believe could be considered the turning point for the evolution of the company?

“In 2011, I positioned my company to work with corporate and government agencies. I offered pro bono production services to several high-level businesses. The goal was to become a certified vendor and service provider. This strategic move was the turning point for the evolution of my company. As a result, we received B2B referrals, larger contracts, and more revenue. I hired contractors and staff, took on more projects, invested in leadership development, and pursued other passions and philanthropic endeavors. Notable clients include Canon, CocaCola, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, IFC International, McDonald’s, MillerCoors, Toastmasters International, Twentieth Century Fox, and the U.S. Department of Justice. One Vision Productions has received more than 100 awards for production of branding and marketing videos, and excellence in customer service. During this time (2015-2022), I was also a SCORE business mentor assisting aspiring and existing business owners with growth and sustainability. I met Nam Kim of Artificial Consciousness Technology, Inc. in 2019. Our chapter chair, William Foust, and Kim were business colleagues. He believed I could help Kim brand and market his Artificial Intelligence company and patent. Over the years, the business partnership between Nam and myself has been equally beneficial.”

What are the values that have characterized the company’s growth? Are they the same ones that distinguish your present or have they changed?

“My values have been consistent throughout the course of my business. The VISION OF One Vision Productions is to achieve excellence and customer satisfaction in every detail of our work. What is One Vision Productions for you? Do you consider it a point of arrival or a point of departure?

“One Vision Productions serves as both a point of arrival and departure. My work in production has opened the door to many opportunities and business ventures. Throughout my journey, I have become an author, film producer, business coach, and professional speaker. The first paid speaking engagement came about due to my expertise in the field of media. The success of my book is directly related to the commercials and marketing videos creating brand recognition. Media has provided opportunities to brand and market my various career paths and will remain an integral part of my identity.”

What are the company’s plans for the future?

“I plan to continue growing the business and leave it to my children. They all enjoy working in various fields of communications, education, film, and media. Hopefully, One Vision Productions will become a family legacy.”
