Sup, skiing and rowing: Whipr is the 3 in 1 cube for training everywhere

Whipr is a cube that allows you to train in sup, rowing and cross-country skiing: the dimensions are so small that you can put it in your suitcase.

Training has never been so easy! Luke Tipple – a former NASA engineer – conceived and designed Whipr, an innovative portable tool that allows you to train almost anywhere. It is a small cube (16 centimeters by 2.7 kilograms) inside which there is a complex mechanism of resistances and cables. Essentially, Whipr is a miniature rowing machine. On the front of the Whipr are the traction cable, the digital screen and the inflation and deflation buttons for anchoring the device. On the back of the unit there is the wheel that allows you to adjust the resistance as well as the inflatable anchor the removable anchor to attach Whipr to any object. Thanks to the traction cable and the planetary resistance, sportsmen can reproduce the movement that is normally performed on much more complex, bulky and expensive machinery. In this way it is possible to practice disciplines such as SUP (Stand Up Paddle, a variant of surfing where you stand on a board and row with a paddle), rowing or even cross-country skiing. An attachment to be fixed at the top of a door allows you to replicate the movements of skiers. All this in the living room of the house!

The size of Whipr is so small that it can be easily slipped into a suitcase. The most avid sportsmen will be able to train even on vacation! The crowdfunding campaign launched by the creator of the project was immediately a great success, collecting over 2.2 million euros in a few weeks. Those who want to buy Whipr still have a few days to take advantage of the special price of 169 euros. To exploit the full potential of the tool, however, you have to spend a little more. The paddle and support for cross-country skiing cost 60 euros each, while another 100 euros are needed for the rower.
