The Pentagon has confirmed that the UFO video recorded in California during a naval exercise by the Marines is authentic: an unidentified flying object follows the American ship and then sinks into the sea
The mystery deepens. A few weeks after it went viral, the video shot on board the USS Omaha has been ‘confirmed’ by the Pentagon, the US Department of Defence. The events shown in the video date back to 2019. During an exercise on board the warship USS Omaha in California waters, some military personnel film a truly incredible scene. A spherical object appears in the sky and starts following the ship closely. The scene goes on for a few minutes and then, as suddenly as it appeared, the flying object disappears into the sea. The video was released online just two years later by Jeremy Corbell, a well-known documentary filmmaker and UFO researcher. The images immediately went viral and sparked curiosity on the web. Many users have asked for clarity and the media echo has been so strong as to push the Pentagon to take an official position.

“The video of the UFO at sea is authentic”
In an official note, the US Department of Defence has confirmed the authenticity of the USS Omaha video. Pentagon officials said that the video was indeed shot on board the US warship and was not subject to later manipulation. No official statement has been made regarding the ‘nature’ of the flying object. It is therefore in its own right a UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) or UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena), as it has become fashionable to say in the United States today. This is not the first time that the US government has confirmed the authenticity of UFO videos. Last year, the Pentagon even released three official videos showing still unidentified flying objects. In the first video, an elongated object can be seen moving rapidly. After being detected by one of the aircraft’s on-board sensors, the UFO disappears to the left with a sudden acceleration.
