Welcome to Sonny, the portable bidet

Anodized aluminum tube for a healthy lifestyle, hygienic and environmentally friendly.

American citizens consume as many as 36.5 billion rolls of toilet paper and this overuse would put the survival of northern Canada’s boreal forests at serious risk. Considering the last 150 years, the average consumption for a family of 4 people has in fact always been in first place in the world with about 45 kilograms per year, corresponding to almost 4 rolls per week.

It’s precisely from this alarm that the brilliant idea of the American Zack Levinson was born, promising to be a valid alternative to paper for very green cleaning: Sonny, the portable bidet.

Goodbye, then, to wet wipes and miles of rolls of toilet paper.

The innovative sanitary is nothing more than a simple anodized aluminium tube, 22 cm high and 4 cm wide, with a minimal and elegant design. It contains easily rechargeable water and works thanks to normal batteries that can be recharged for twenty times, or about three weeks. Specifically, the operation takes place through a spray mist that, at the discretion of the customer, lasts between twenty to forty seconds.

Sonny has been developed for a healthy, hygienic and environmentally friendly lifestyle, capable of reducing the environmental burden by increasing personal hygiene.
The classic bidet, therefore, has always been a universal symbol of Italian hygienic supremacy, and risks becoming just a piece of retro furniture destined to be no longer used.

The project has been realized thanks to a very successful crowfunding campaign, which to date has raised almost 950 thousand dollars from 8,500 investors.
The portable bidet, bookable for now on the e-commerce Indiegogo, will be available in December at a modest price of 90 dollars and aims to become the most original gift to be found under the Christmas tree.
