American videomaker Jay Christensen flew his drone into a bowling alley in Minneapolis making a viral video that got millions of shares in just a few days
“Right up your alley”. This is the title of the video that, since a few days, has conquered the web with millions of views and shares on social networks. It is a short sequence (lasts just over 1 minute and 30 seconds) made by the young American videomaker Jay Christensen. To make the video, Jay launched and piloted a drone inside equipped with a camera inside the Bryant Lake Bowling in Minneapolis. The result is a truly sensational first-person video that “unlocks” all the secrets of a bowling alley. Including the pin repositioning system! In fact, Jay guided the drone with such precision that he was able to “get it through” the gears and mechanisms that allow the pins to return to position after a strike.

The video shows the drone entering the bowling alley and reveals all the secrets of the facility. In a matter of seconds, it goes from the entrance of the facility to the restaurant area, from the lanes with the pins to the cinema with the inevitable red chairs. All in flight and with millimeter precision maneuvering. The video was made by Jay in collaboration with Rally Studios and was published on the author’s YouTube channel. Within a few hours, the clip got hundreds of thousands of views and was shared on different platforms by millions of users around the world. It even seems that Jay has already received requests for collaboration from some Hollywood film producers.
