Creativity and the spirit of invention have long been the driving forces behind societal progress. Every innovation may change the world. The annual signature invention show in Asia — Taiwan Innotech Expo (tie) — will take place from October 16 to 18, 2025, at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1 (TWTC Hall 1). Exhibitor registration is now officially open! We warmly invite inventors to share their inspiration and achievements with the world, seizing this golden opportunity to enter international markets.
Jointly Supervised by 11 government agencies — including the Ministry of Economic Affairs, National Science and Technology Council, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Digital Affairs, National Development Council, and Academia Sinica — the Expo is hosted by the Intellectual Property Office (TIPO) and the Industrial Development Administration, and Implemented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). It brings together resources from government, industry, and academia to create a platform where technology is seen and creativity is discovered.
The Expo has seen three consecutive years of growth. In 2024, it hosted 431 exhibitors from 20 countries, using 1,235 booths to showcase over a thousand inventions and technologies, attracting more than 50,000 visits over three days. Participants included government agencies, research institutions, and associations from countries such as South Korea, Singapore, New Zealand, Philippines, and Thailand — solidifying Taiwan’s position as a hub for global innovation exchange.
The 2025 Taiwan Innotech Expo will feature a diverse range of exhibition areas, including the Invention Competition Area, Theme Pavilions, Patent Merchandise Area, Peripheral Services Area, and the Taiwan Patent GO.
- Invention Competition Area, hosted by TIPO, will present Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards to patents with commercialization potential, encouraging cross-industry collaboration and application.
- Patent Merchandise Area will showcase commercialized patent products and allow retail sales during the exhibition, helping bring creativity into everyday life and the marketplace.
- Peripheral Services Area will connect design, patent, and media resources to support inventors in expanding their reach.
- Taiwan Patent GO will display award-winning patents from international invention competitions, demonstrating Taiwan’s technological strength and global vision.
In addition, the Expo will feature industry eminars, procurement matchmaking meetings, and guided tours to help participants expand business opportunities and gain industry insights.
