That the magic of Hogwarts is more alive than ever is now certain. Now more than ever, however, the famous potterheads can rejoice!
Warner Bros.Avalanche has officialized the release of the new open world and single player RGP action, the new Hogwarts Legacy trailer is available online.
The slogan chosen by Avalanche Software is very intuitive: “Live the Unwritten” – “Live what hasn’t been written”, because the game, although set in the world of Harry Potter, faces an era before the adventures of both the wizard and Newt Scamander. We will live a Hogwarts of 1800 and we will dress the role of the only student able to perceive and use ancient magic, it will be up to the player to choose whether to use this power to do good or let himself be carried away by the dark arts destroying the magical world.
Before panicking, let’s say that the game will be available on current consoles such as Ps4, Xbox One or PC as well as Ps5 and Xbox Series S.
It will be really exciting to walk in the majestic Great Hall, relive the atmosphere of the Forbidden Forest, Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade The adventures experienced by the protagonist will be set in the castle of Hogwarts, but also in the lands and places that surround it, such as the Forbidden Forest, the lake, and the village of Hogsmeade.ti, but there will be new locations and teachers, but above all a new Headmaster.
The presentation trailer of Hogwarts Legacy gives us a little piece of the Sorting Ceremony, a mandatory procedure according to which each new student is assigned to one of the four Houses: Gryffindor, for the most valiant, Corvoner, for the most acute, Hufflepuff, for the most altruistic, and Slytherin, for the most ambitious. Also in this case we could see the gifted student influence the decision of the Speaking Hat.
Other sequences of the trailer seem to confirm the possibility of facing both Dark Wizards and dangerous creatures, such as the fierce Trolls or Dementors. For the rest we can only speculate what will happen, if it is clear that Hogwarts Legacy will offer players an open-world to try their hand at crazy adventures, it is not clear what form the game will take.
The game, therefore, will be characterized by colorful atmospheres and a bit more suspense as well as moments of collaborative interaction with other characters.
There is not yet an official release date we know for sure that 2021 will be a year full of surprises.
