Experts and businesses discuss ethics, employment and AI governance
Milan, 22 March – Human intelligence at the heart of the technological revolution. This is the focus of the second edition of “Human Driven AI”, the international summit scheduled to take place in Pompeii in September 2026.
The event will bring together experts, businesses, institutions and the academic world to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on the economy, work and society, with the aim of building a more ethical and sustainable approach to technological development.
At the heart of the discussion is the relationship between humans and AI in a phase of rapid change, which, according to the organisers, requires new skills and a greater capacity for collective interpretation.
The summit will also address the growing skills gap between businesses, public administration and the education system, aiming to serve as a forum for dialogue between different perspectives, moving beyond the dichotomy of enthusiasm versus fears regarding the use of artificial intelligence.
Representatives from major international technology groups, including Microsoft, Google Cloud and IBM, are expected to attend, alongside figures from the academic and institutional sectors.
The programme will be divided into five thematic areas, ranging from creativity to work, from governance to science, and from industry to security, with an expected attendance of around 1,500 participants on-site and over 5,000 joining remotely.
