Drinksafe is an original protective mask that allows you to drink without sacrificing safety: the system has been patented by three entrepreneurs from the province of Pisa.
Drinksafe: drink in safety! This is the slogan that the Tuscan entrepreneurs Carlo Alberto Arzelà, Tristano Baldanzi and Stefano Banni have chosen to accompany the launch of their new (and original) invention. It is a protective mask equipped with a valve that allows you to drink a cocktail or an aperitif without sacrificing safety. The system was developed during the months of lockdown by Coronavirus and was subsequently patented. The standard version of Drinksafe includes a mask made of an hypoallergenic triplatform TNT. In the center – at the mouth – there is a valve in which you can insert a straw. The system does not let air pass and allows to drink without lowering the mask, favouring the respect of health regulations and reducing the risks of contagion to a minimum. After use, the valve can be disassembled, disinfected and stored for further use. The standard version of Drinksafe costs around 5 euros. In addition, the valve can also be used with other masks on the market.

The project was developed and patented by three entrepreneurs from Pontedera, in the province of Pisa (Tuscany). “Drinksafe – the inventors write on Facebook – is a project dedicated to the community, born from an idea of Carlo Alberto Arzelà, Tristano Baldanzi and Stefano Bani. Drinksafe is a patented safety system that allows people to drink without having to take off the mask, and is adaptable to all the main types of mask currently on the market. The Drinksafe device is reusable through sterilization and can be used many times. Simple and economical, Drinksafe is aimed at all people who need to be in contact with other people, all those who want to have a moment of socializing in complete safety. Using Drinksafe means being able to reduce the social distance during the act of drinking and re-appropriate human relationships. Drinksafe protects, before, during and after the act of drinking, through a patented, hypoallergenic and easy to use system”. Recently, the three entrepreneurs also presented the prototype of a new accessory (similar to a pacifier) for drinking directly from the bottle. Always safe, of course!
