The apple vision pro is a computer that can blend digital content and apps all in front of your face so you have access to anything and everything whenever you want. Essentially it is a mixed reality headset as digital content and apps are blended together you can do many things.
The vision behind this product was meant to be an innovation as it incorporated a virtual reality headset with a high resolution as well as an arrangement of augmented reality cameras that let the end user see normal applications floating about on the screen and they can interact with the applications with their hands this way they can get a good experience as it is easy to navigate around the vision pro. The goal for the apple vision pro was that it was meant to be a main product that could sit alongside the iPhone and the macbook and it can also help you get real work done as it isn’t hard to navigate around with your hands so you can actually complete day to day tasks with it so like the iPhone and macbook once getting used to it isn’t hard to incorporate into everyday life.
The benefits of the apple vision pro is that it has an amazing micro-OLED display which is a high image quality that is unique to specifically OLEDs. It is majority controlled by hand-eye control interfaces which is good as it makes it easy to navigate. An advantage of the vision pro is that it blends the real and virtual worlds spectacularly by using its pass through cameras to see the real world while layering virtual apps and displays on top. Another advantage is for apple users ios works with the vision pro so lots of apps will be compatible with it and it can be perfectly integrated with the rest of the apps. One more advantage of the vision pro is that you can replay personal memories in 3D and it feels like an experience like you are actually there. This can be good for people who enjoy looking back at things.A challenge apple faced when creating the vision pro was that they needed to make it comfortable and easy to wear as this is an important part of it because it’s the finished product and if it is uncomfortable to wear it won’t be used much and people won’t buy it and it wouldn’t have been a top product in apples collection. Following on from comfortability a big challenge was that it had a heavy design so for people who want to use it for longer and move around with it it is less practical meaning moving around with it can get difficult at times.
Another possible challenge for the users is the price of the apple vision pro as many people can’t afford it or aren’t willing to spend that much money for it. Another challenge is the limited compatibility apple designed it to be in line with apple products so it could have problems working with non apple devices. Another disadvantage of the apple vision pro is that it has a high power consumption and the battery for the devices connected is rapidly consumed this also leads to another issue as it limits usage time for users.
In the future apple are looking at making the apple vision more more smaller and lightweight so that they find it good to wear and they can take it anywhere this is the companies first headset and people are experiencing neck strain due to the size and weight of the product this could be a large turn off for a lot of potential customers because they want to feel comfortable when they are wearing it and not having to pay the price of hurting themselves instead. More future plans for the vision pro are expanding the apps ecosystem and developing new features and capabilities to be able to take things to the next level. Another future goal for Apple is to lower the price point so that it can be more affordable for people and more people can get the experience of the Apple Vision pro this way they can get general feedback from a wider audience as they have made it available for more people.
