The natural environment contains several resources that are necessary for people.
Due to the importance of these natural resources, humans affect and are affected by these resources. They are economic affluence for countries own them, because they export or manufacture and re-export to other countries need it. The Dead Sea considered one of the unique natural resources in Jordan because it is full of natural minerals in salt and mud for the benefit of skin, body, and hair and considered a good treatment of many skin diseases.
Exporting Dead Sea products play an important role in Jordan’s economy, development, and growth. Therefore, it is imperative to face the competition through creativity in the elements of the marketing mix to enhance the competitive position of Jordanian Dead Sea products in international markets and to compete with their competitors. From this, the concept of creativity in the global markets has to be adopted in order to be leaders in the field of international competition.
Jordanian Dead Sea companies operate under deferent circumstances in the global markets that impose great challenges. Therefore, they should be faced efficiently, and this requires a high creative capability through which they could find solutions and put forward new ideas that enable them to continue and grow. In addition, they must adopt the process of innovation in the elements of the marketing mix (product, price, place, and promotion) in order to increase their sales and market shares.
The current era witnessed an increase in the global competition, because of
globalization and trade liberalization, and the tremendous progress of technology, all of which led to increasing interest in innovation as a method of competing competitors.
Most Jordanian Dead Sea products companies consider creativity important, but the degree of innovation is always low. Therefore, the most important steps these companies should take to move from the traditional position to the innovative and creative position are as the following:
The first step: creativity must be from the CEO of the company to his direct
management, and the creative leader should permeate all employees of the
company.
The second step: creative thinking occurs only when the teams in the company are coherent, embrace the change, and are open to new ideas.

The third step: All employees in the company must support the vision of the
company’s mission and know that there are many manners to achieve its goals; otherwise, not everyone works for the same goal.
The fourth step: Offering encouragement and incentives by rewarding employees for showing creative thinking.
The Fifth step: Allow some time for creativity. If the employees are tired of work pressure and challenges, they should be given some time for creativity.
The sixth and last step: Ensure that there is a process that harnesses and focuses on creativity, and this is what turns the idea into a successful reality.
