Patented by Invent, the photovoltaic flooring allows to produce green energy
What is more renewable than the energy produced by the sun? The mother star of our solar system is, in fact, the most powerful source of energy and, on the other hand, without it, there would never have been any form of life on Earth. It is a renewable source that can be used by all, as well as being widely available and clean. For this reason, Invent, a company specialized in the production of alternative energy systems, has decided to patent Floor®: the photovoltaic tile that can be walked on.
Floor® is a photovoltaic flooring system that allows you to transform inert flooring into real active and sustainable systems and is installed in a raised position above the ground with an adjustable mechanical support. Specifically, the photovoltaic tiles have a tempered glass surface, with a special processing that makes it non-slip, the size of 70×103 cm, to compose and lay at will. In addition, they can bear a weight of 200 kg/m2 and soon a version with a higher load capacity will be available.
Thanks to Invent’s renewable invention, the surface dedicated to the production of green energy is enlarged: inert floors can thus be transformed into living, active systems capable of capturing the sun’s rays and creating clean energy.
Recent European research has estimated that integrated photovoltaics has the potential to produce more than 50 percent of the current electricity demand in the Old Continent, offering advantages, not only on the economic front, but also on the purely visual. The design, in fact, is not neglected and even the photovoltaic tile lends itself as a design furniture capable of enhancing the aesthetics of the context in which it is installed. Floor®, in fact, is suitable for outdoor use both in private contexts and in public places such as shopping malls, fairs or squares, the flooring system does not forget the care for the aesthetics.
