Peeking through the source codes, MacRUmors found T288 and Garta, two code names that suggest a connection between an external device for Augmented Reality and the Iphone app. Therefore, it seems that a device compatible with Augmented Reality will not be long in coming.
The time for the product launch of these AR lenses is around the first half of 2020 instead of the end of 2019.
