Born from the brilliant minds of the guys at PrismaLab, the tech workshop of Federico II in Naples, RoDyMan has become the conductor (for an evening) of the Conservatory “Martucci” in Salerno, a preview of what we will see at MakerFaire in Rome.
There are those who are surprised by his skills, those who fear the effect of alienation. The fact is that we have now entered fully into the era of robotization. Proof of this is the latest, in some ways phantasmagorical creation of the University Federico II. RoDyMan, that’s the name of the robot, improvised for an evening conductor at the Belvedere in Ravello. In October we will find it on display at the Makerfaire in Rome.
Fruit of the genius of Professor Bruno Siciliano, RoDyMan is the realization of a project started in 2013 that has enjoyed the funds allocated by the European Centre for Research and Innovation.
For those who want to deepen the many aspects of Robotics, we report below the speech of the Sicilian professor in the classrooms of PrismaLab at Federico II in Naples.
